2D Character Design
CF Trust
The Cystic Fibrosis trust commissioned us to make a 2D animated short to demystify Cystic Fibrosis. We wanted to create a relaxed feel to the film and the dialogue as it was to be used in schools - kid's with CF take the DVD in to help their classmates understand why they are a little bit different. So we created a simple look and recorded the sound in our studio with friends Oli (12) and Nush (5) while they made plasticine models, did some drawing and just hung out.

Protect Your Bubble
We have have made two commercials to date featuring the hapless, gadget-destroying Squeak who is luckily always saved from the nightmare of missing a text by his dependable, rotund buddy, Bubble. We worked very closely with Space City to develop ideas, storyboard, animate and composite the commercials.
Quiz Safari
We make more kids TV in Austria than we do in the UK! Quiz Safari was a great collaboration between the Cuckoos and our Austrian counterparts to create an animated world of super-nature and crazy animals as the backdrop for a live action quiz show. The show was shot on green screen then the environments and animals, created by our very own Nicky Storr, were added after to create a fun and unique series.
